Over 50 years ago, B&C Packagings began manufacturing plastic bags in Montreal. As a small converter, they bought roll stock and converted it into
poly bags and other products. As a young company with long-term goals, they knew they had to offer more than just a product. Their philosophy was based on customer service. Give the customer a dependable product with the service they expect and you have a win-win situation. By using this philosophy on a day-to-day basis, the company has continually grown. As the business grew locally so did the need to follow these customers. During 1978, the company expanded its production capabilities to Ontario and began extruding and converting polyethylene in Brampton. The Film Tech Plastics division was created to meet the needs of its rapidly expanding customer requirements.
Today, Film Tech Plastics in Brampton, Ontario and B&C Packagings in St. Laurent, Quebec occupies over 135,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing space.
